Skip to main content Researchers at University of Sunshine Coast are conducting a research study aimed at discovering how compassion and appreciation-based constructs can improve body image in females with and without endometriosis. Women, and especially those with endometriosis, typically have body image concerns. This project aims to contribute to the understanding of improving body image in those with and without endometriosis
Who can participate?
You may be eligible to participate if:
- Biological females aged 17-60 years (17-year-olds must be enrolled at university),
- who have a diagnosis of endometriosis,
- who have suspected endometriosis, or
- who do not have endometriosis.
What does the research involve?
Participation in this study involves completing a short anonymous online survey (20-25 minutes) that asks questions about body image and endometriosis, and a writing task asking participants to generate seven to ten responses about a topic.
